I have worked within design studios for the majority of my career, supporting design, research and hiring efforts with my expertise.
13 years in Advertising, Education and Audio
I began my career in education, moved on through the advertising agency circuit and spent a powerful year with Behringer audio. I created experiences from each era of technology, from HTML 3.2, Actionscript/Flash, Silverlight, Knockout, XHTML, and most recently React. I gained incredible experience in this time and it helped me to be a singular force within Microsoft.
13 at Microsoft Azure
Through my incredible time at Microsoft I was pivotal in creating the User Experience Engineer role and being one of the founding leaders of the discipline. I worked in Azure Design for my entire tenure and was key in moving Azure from -17 NPS up into the +20 range through prototyping, design, thought leadership and consistently impactful work. I managed a fantastic team of User Experience Engineers, built a design studio, and drove accessibility compliance from 60-95%.
